Guide to Appraisals

Guide to Appraisals

When it comes to managing people and getting the best out of them, providing regular feedback is paramount to business success and continual improvement of staff development.

In order to effectively review an employee’s performance and to set clear objectives for them to work towards, holding an annual or bi-annual1-1 appraisal or a performance review meeting can be a useful way to keep the dialogue of communication open, ensuring your employees feel valued, listened to, and they get to discuss areas for improvement in their work performance.

If you don’t already hold regular appraisals or performance reviews and you would like to implement this as an effective performance management tool, I have put together a handy guide called “Guide to Appraisals”, which provides practical advice on how you can effectively manage individual performance.
